Our recording engineers operate the digital recording equipment and create the masters from which copies are made to send to the listeners. They also control the quality of both the recording in the technical sense and the quality of the reading.

New recorders are trained by us, and we find that on average two or three sessions each of about an hour enable a new recorder to be able to “go live” in tandem with a seasoned practitioner until she/he is confident to go it alone.

There are two recording sessions each Friday to enable all the editions to be recorded – one from 10.30am to 1pm (on a 4 weekly rota) and one from 7.30pm to 9.30 pm (on a 6 weekly rota).
